The final
discussions on the terrorism resolutions are put aside and a new discussion is
open

The UNSC
had just started to discuss the clauses from their newest working paper when
the chair asked for their attention for an announcement: a dangerous man got
infiltrated on the Chasma Nuclear Complex and compromised the security of the
reactor by inserting a virus on the computer’s system to deactivate the
security of the complex. At the same time, the nuclear complex was changing the
radioactive combustible element of the reactor and, with the security system damaged,
the gas escaped. Fifteen people died immediately and 359 other employees received
extremely high doses of radiation. Due to that, a radiation cloud was formed
and it is spreading towards the Pakistan territory and surrounded countries.
The hole incident is suspected to be related to an extremist terrorist group unknown
by now.
With all
this information, the UNSC delegates got into a huge round of discussions
trying to find the best solutions for the case. The first initiative came from
the delegate from Pakistan, who affirmed that the Pakistan army was already in
movement to evacuate the area and that now they should be worried with the
refugees who were fleeing to bordering countries. The delegates from Germany,
Togo and India supported the idea and tried to give suggestions on how they
would do it.
The
delegates were really nervous and it was possible to feel the pressure in the
air. When they all thought it couldn’t get worse, the chair called out them
again with another new: there were rumors of the existence of a bomb in one of
the buildings surrounding the UNSC building. The section was then adjournmented
for the safety of the delegates.
